Today’s Ratings and Market Movers 03/09/19

That was some day yesterday. Held up for 20 minutes whilst filming took place on New Brighton promenade, then delayed at Manchester airport, stuck in traffic coming out of Manchester and the trip back took 40 minutes longer than it should have done, then taking to dinner four people who simply wanted to go to sleep.

We had to keep them awake until bedtime local time somehow but I’d still not want to be them for the next week as they acclimatise again….jetlag is horrible.

My lad has to be up at 6-30am this morning to get ready for work too….he’ll suffer today!

But the results we enjoyed yesterday were good.

The early overnight Market Movers (the ones you got the night before), were spot on. Catching those early worms might well be the best way to go with these but, we’ll see. Highlighting the two that had continued to attract support whilst we were sleeping also proved fruitful…both won.

I was also chuffed with the spot of BELLE ANGLAISE….20/1 > 15/2….won @ 9/2, beating the 4/11 favourite in the process. Had an e-mail from a relatively new member who was on….nice one, Harry!! I’ll add you to the Broadcast Group, as requested!

This is all still relatively fresh as this is the first season I have suggested we work with these. Not gone to badly so far though, eh!

There were none last night but what I’ll do this evening is sit down from 9-00pm and go through all flat meetings taking place on turf. If something catches my eye, you’ll hear of it before I shut everything down at my end.

Earlier this season I looked at a couple of all weather meetings and we had some some success with Market Movers there, too. I was asked recently if I’d return to those and I will through the winter. What I do not want to do is present you with 30 or 40 movers every day and your having to “cherry pick”. Let’s keep the numbers down through the summer as best we can.

The Ratings were very good, too. That six runner race that was reduced to five was a two runner race before I sent out the evening Newsletter. They duly finished 1st and 2nd.

For some reason I seem to have worked Windsor out this year and we’ve enjoyed some cracking good results there.

Two top rated winners from the three I had worked on for that meeting last night and the other won by a three year old having just its third race on turf (CHIL CHIL), made it impossible to rate….won easily @ 4/11.

The mix of Ratings and Market Movers there last night was a powerful one. Four of the last five winners on that card were on our radar and we had a non-runner in another.

I’d spotted up five Market Movers for Brighton and Chepstow and they too produced three winners, a runner up and another non-runner.

If we get a clear run at the rest of this month and the weather leaves us alone, we should finish this season with a bang.

TODAY

Just three Rated races from Catterick but we have a Class 5 there that is a belter. Not often you’ll hear me saying that!

Currently 10 going to post, eight of them with a + Rating.

I’ve also got 12 Market Movers for you and most likely a few more by 11-30am.

Kindest regards

Ron

? OVERNIGHT MARKET MOVERS ?
If any Market Movers are found in Rated races, simply set up the dutch in those races, as usual.

For all Market Movers not in a Rated race, play 20/80 to the maximum number of places that enables you to obtain a profit from that play.

TODAY’S RATINGS AND ADVICE

The races below should treated in the normal fashion.

Your starting point is the top three rated horses for a dutch.

When we have a Market Mover in any of those rated races in this section, that fall outside my top three, create a dutch 4.

If you have a bottom rated favourite in any of those races below, create a dutch 4.

Keep a close eye on 3-y-o’s trading 7/1 or shorter. If one exists, consider including it in your dutch. If more than one exists, select the highest rated.

MARKET MOVERS IN RATED RACES HIGHLIGHTED

Below are those rated races that currently consist of 11 runners or more.

You should consider playing only Market Movers 20/80 and/or Bottom Rated Favourites 20/80 in such races.

If a race consisting of more than 10 runners should become a race of 10 runners or less on account of non-runners, consider playing in exactly the same way you would for those Rated races above.
