Catching my eye 11/09/19

This is now going to become a daily thing, whether anything is catching my eye or not.

The first thing that has been winking at me today is the money for a horse in the Legends race at Doncaster.

HAMMER GUN, ridden by Noel Fehily, has been backed from 20/1 > 8/1 and I suppose that will be because the jockey will still be “race riding fit”, compared to some of those also riding in the race.

I’m also looking at Willie John (Doncaster 4-45). The yard can get one ready for this race (won it in 2016/2018), and Atzeni has come for just this one ride. The market likes him (5/1 > 5/2), and it really is about time he started to repay the near £2m he cost. To date he’s clawed back just £20k of that.

My rated races today look interesting, now the markets have started speaking and I’ve a couple I like.

The Doncaster 5-20 sees one of my top five very much attracting money and now that we pay special heed to Market Movers in races where we have more than 10 runners, I’ll be on that one 20/80.

My top rated horse in the Carlisle 3-25 also seems popular and has, on several occasions this season, left the money behind. It’s only a Class 5 but I feel confident enough to work with that race.

We are now looking towards the 2019-2020 NH season and I have advised my subscribed membership of a PTP race I’ve become interested in because of how much the first three home have been sold for.

In October, I’ll advise them of the names of those horses, that they should be putting in a tracker.

I’m soon to be looking at introducing all weather Market Movers, most likely from the start go October, as we change over from the flat to jumping.

Tomorrow I’ll have in place a Cheltenham Festival Special offer…..see you then!
