Catching my eye 13/09/19

Great shame to read that CRYSTAL OCEAN has had to be retired following an accident on the gallops. Hope he enjoys his retirement at stud, once he’s recovered from the leg problem.

We have four meetings today and I’ve rated six races, four from Sandown, and one each from Chester and Doncaster.

The Doncaster figures have been very smart this week and I’d be more than hopeful of another winning rated race there today.

I’ve been working on a new section for next year. It produces very few selections but, what is coming out of it has been pretty smart.

Today I would have a qualifier – SKYMAN (Sandown 5-35). It was good to see the Market speaking favourably of that one this morning.

It is good, competitive racing this afternoon but that horse is the only one I’m finding an eye-catcher so hopefully he adds another tick in the box for this new system I’m working on.

Tony Davidson (LEFT), will be posting up his first bets of the new season either tonight, or tomorrow morning. As soon as he does, I’ll get them out on our social media. He produced a rattling good profit last year from what he produced and we’ve decided that again, his work will be added to the “free to access” bits and pieces we produce. What I will be doing though is asking you to buy him a pint or two through the year, as he does everything for nothing.

I’m in the middle now of setting up our 2019/2020 NH 20 to Follow and will be inviting everyone to donate for the Cheltenham Special 2020 this weekend.

I’m looking to raise £1000 minimum for racing charities through this and hope you see fit to get involved. In return you’ll have an ante-post portfolio, access to the Cheltenham website, which will be updated weekly in the run up to March and then, through the week of the Festival itself, access to the best profiling you will ever come across.

The cost for all this is just £20 and I will have that back off the layers for you by the end of November.

Have a great day!
