Foxes to prove to cunning for the Seagulls

This is the only game I fancy betting this weekend and the league outside the top 4 is full of teams that are basically capable of beating each other and trying to work them out is headache.

There are only 6 points between 5th and 17th place in the table and there are more than that between 1st and 2nd!

Brighton may have won the last 3 home games but when they play top 2 sides they get a stuffing. They have lost the last 6 in a row against those teams and today they play a team that have the best defensive record in the league as Leicester have only let in 8 so far.

In 4 previous meetings between these 2 sides in the prem, Brighton have lost 3. They have also let in 2 goals in each of those defeats.

Only Liverpool and City have won more games since Rodgers took over in March and he not only has them rock solid defensively but they are 2nd only to City on goal difference, with Vardy scoring 20 goals in 22 games and he’s 7 clear of every other striker over those 22 games and he’s leading goal scorer so far.

Potter has Brighton hard to beat but its only when they play teams of the same quality that they come out on top and Leicester are better than they are.

Leicester have a good chance of notching up some points over the next few weeks as the next 5 games are against teams in the bottom half of the league and they know how to win these games.
