I didn’t post up yesterday quite simply because the racing was poor and I could not find the horse to make you a profit.
It is poor again today and, fair to say it’s not great until we hit Friday, when Cheltenham kicks in.
The one thing the FREE Stuff Newsletter is doing, is bringing people to the site and I’m going to have to take a serious look at speeding things up. This will most likely mean my putting the site into the hands of professionals and paying for it.
I’ll still produce my FREE Stuff and offer competitions that are free to enter, with decent enough prizes on offer but if the costs of what I need to do become “personal” to me (Karen would kill me), then I’ll have to look at how I proceed in future.
For now though….as is.
I need to have the website managed now though because the numbers turning up recently have been brilliant. I’m getting over 1000 visits per day and this year the site has attracted 1,744,507 visitors at the time I’m writing this, this year.
If I can turn those visitors into subscribed members of any kind, then imagine the good work we could do!
If you are currently unsubscribed, have a think about Weekend Club membership, if nothing else. I’ve increased the benefits of that membership by producing three Newsletters per day now and, also include my Monday figures and early Market Movers, which go out on the Sunday evening.
On Saturday I’ll be heading to Cheltenham to meet Post Racing members going racing, and to enjoy a great day of racing. Very much looking forward to that, as I’ve not been racing since that illness hit me in 2013 and now I’m clear of it, I can crack on as was usual back then.
I’m looking to raise £20k for those charities we support through Post Racing and every penny raised via my Specials from now on, will be given to those charities.
What you as a “donator” will receive in return is ridiculous!
As you know, I have purchased two shares in Willie Mullin’s Closutton Racing Club, one for my members to go racing with, and one that will be offered up as an annual prize to those that donate. In addition, the winner of the prize draw will also be going to Cheltenham with three other people, who will share a table for four people at The Festival.
In order to get you to part with your cash early, what I’m doing is giving you a ticket for every month between now and March, that will go into the draw so, if you donated today, you’ll have three chances of winning the prizes, if you donate in January you have two and if you wait until February, you’ll have just one.
What I’m doing to help you get the layers to pay for it is provide you with the name of one horse each day (if I can find one), to get the layers to pay for it.
MIN would have done that for you on Sunday and that winner made if four from the last five, winners.
It’s tricky….poor racing makes it tricky and, when you see huge field Class 5 races for punters to work with, you know we’ve a job on but, never say never.
MORTENS LEAM (Fontwell 3-00)
Fun bets, but if we can find the winners of races in which we need to find the winners, then today’s Placepots might pay for tonight’s dinner.

Can anyone get past first base this weekend?
I’m looking at enhancing this competition and have an idea in my head right now. It will mean someone win something each week, even if they don’t win!
