I watched the first race run at Hexham yesterday and ignored it for betting purposes from there on in.
Bad horses racing on bad ground is a recipe for disaster and most definitely would have given my betting bank a pasting had I used my work for that track. When you see 10 of the 19 runners that took part in the first two races on that card, failing to get home, you know exactly what you are dealing with.
By the time they got to the last race the ground was effectively “ploughed” and the 1/3 favourite was not long in pulling up. There were more that 100 lengths between the first horse and last horse home in that race.
The only rated race I used yesterday was the sole race I had produced figures for at Leicester:
* – TANARPINO….+9 – 3RD 14/1
* – BOLDMERE….-3 – WON 13/2
* – CHAMBARD….-7 – 2ND 9/4
H* – MIDNIGHT MAESTRO….-10 – 4TH
* – CILAOS GLACE…-12
TOWN PARKS (BF)….-15
* – HOLBROOK PARK….-21
A top three 1-2-3 with a trifecta that paid £263.30….to those that played it!
Top four….first four home.
We have been plagued by bad racing this week and it definitely continues today.
JOHN MORRIS’S WINTER BOOK
Just click on that picture to visit John’s website for more details on the book. I was having a read in bed last night and today will be inputting the names of those horses from the smaller yards, into my trackers.
TODAY’S FREE ADVICE
I’ve already advised my subscribed membership that I’ll most likely be looking to my Market Movers section for profit today as the 100+ horses I have produced a figure for today are effectively caribou masquerading as racehorses.
I’m feeling generous today (it’s nearly Christmas after all!), and I’m going to give you the names of four I have been monitoring at Warwick, since last night:
12-50 – WELSH SAINT
2-25 – GETAWAY MISSION
3-00 – ROUGH NIGHT
3-30 – FOX’S SOCKS
All four were of interest from the second the markets opened last night, and they have continued to attract money this morning.
GETAWAY MISSION opened 16/1 and last time I looked, was down to 5/1 so, something is clearly “expected”, there.
