On October 11th last year I notified you of a Morning Market mover running at Newcastle….7-00pm event….and the Crisford colt, PERFECT FOCUS, had been very well backed to win on debut.

However, watching the markets that day it was also obvious that the Karl Burke runner (also making debut), was also well fancied. It’s that horse that get’s the No.8 shirt

This horse had been purchased for £80,000 out of Book 3 at the Tattersalls sales in the October of 2018 but at the Craven Breeze Ups in April 2019, the critter double in price and Burke got her for £160,000

That’s a decent profit made by Jamie Railton!

Anyway, by the time the race was run the Morning Market Mover, whilst still fancied, had drifted to a bigger price (6/4), than his opening show the evening before (11/8).

YES ALWAYS, by comparison, was punted like she was home and hosed.

The horse knew its job right enough….

She won that not even knowing she had been in a race and that favourite beat the rest just as easily! “Pricked ears and eased close home”….she looked very handy.

Right now all she has done is win a Class 5 on the sands of Newcastle but, if she’s not better than that, I’ll eat my Panama!
